He completed his medical training in Internal Medicine at St. John Hospital, Detroit, MI and Detroit Medical Center, WSU, Detroit, MI. His fellowship training was completed at the University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY.

Dr. Cascio is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology and the Wayne County Medical Society.
